GENERAL

What is Mile Four?

Since 2019, Mile Four has set out to create the highest quality organic chicken feed in the world.

As our 100% family owned company has grown, the mission has remained the same; we continue to use premium Organic, Non-GMO grains grown on local US family farms.

We hope you enjoy Mile Four as much as we enjoy making it.

Why buy from Mile Four?

We are confident that this is the best chicken feed available.

Larger & Tastier Eggs: Deep Golden Yolks, Strong Eggshells, Consistent Eggs, Organic Eggs.

Happier & Healthier Chickens: Shiny Plumage, Bright Combs, High Activity, Strong Bones.

PRODUCT

How much feed do I need?

Each product page has a ‘How Much Feed Do I Need?’ calculator to help you choose the best amount for your flock!

Where is Mile Four made?

Mile Four feed is grown, milled, bagged & shipped from Minnesota.

How should I transition my flock to Mile Four?

Good question! We have a free guide for you here!

Is your feed medicated?

Nope!

Is your feed fermentable?

Absolutely!

We recommend whole grain or mash for fermenting; here is a free guide.

Why 23 lb. bags?

We find that they're easier to lift, transport & ship!

Why does the feed look slightly different between orders?

Mile Four feed is 100% Certified Organic, meaning that depending on certain factors, the grains can look a little different from bag-to-bag.

For example, if it's been an overly wet (or dry) summer, the field peas may be a different color or size.

These factors are out of our control.

If uniformity is your thing we recommend pellet & mash which use exactly the same organic ingredients as whole grain, just processed differently.

Do you do bulk sales?

Yes! Visit our bulk sales page here.
