GENERAL

What is Mile Four?

Since 2019, Mile Four has set out to create the highest quality organic chicken feed in the world.

As our 100% family owned company has grown, the mission has remained the same; we continue to use premium Organic, Non-GMO grains grown on local US family farms.

We hope you enjoy Mile Four as much as we enjoy making it.

Why buy from Mile Four?

We are confident that this is the best chicken feed available.

Larger & Tastier Eggs: Deep Golden Yolks, Strong Eggshells, Consistent Eggs, Organic Eggs.

Happier & Healthier Chickens: Shiny Plumage, Bright Combs, High Activity, Strong Bones.

PRODUCT

How much feed do I need?

Each product page has a ‘How Much Feed Do I Need?’ calculator to help you choose the best amount for your flock!

Where is Mile Four made?

Mile Four feed is grown, milled, bagged & shipped from Minnesota.

How should I transition my flock to Mile Four?

Good question! We have a free guide for you here!

Is your feed medicated?

Nope!

Is your feed fermentable?

Absolutely!

We recommend whole grain or mash for fermenting; here is a free guide.

Why 23 lb. bags?

We find that they're easier to lift, transport & ship!

Why does the feed look slightly different between orders?

Whole grain feeds will look different from bag to bag

For a consistent feed look each order we recommend pellet & mash blends which use the same organic ingredients as whole grain, just milled differently.

All Mile Four feed is 100% Certified Organic & Non-GMO, meaning grains will look different from bag-to-bag.

For example, if it's been a wet (or dry) summer, field peas may be a different color (yellow, green, purple, etc.) or size.

As there are no chemicals or GMO grains being used, there is a noticeable change in grains.

This is why most companies use GMO grains & non-organics - uniformity.

Read more here.

Do you do bulk sales?

Yes! Visit our bulk sales page here.

Why is the Guaranteed Analysis numbers not the same as the % of Ingredients on your product page?

The Guaranteed Analysis provides minimum or maximum values for key nutrients, while the % breakdown of Ingredients lists the composition by weight.

Corn in feed?

100% of feed is corn free.

However, we use the same production equipment (augers, grain bins, etc.) to make products with corn (scratch). We clean all equipment out each time we change blends to industry standards but from time to time a few kernels end up in corn-free bags.

SHIPPING

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, FREE Shipping for everything except Bulk Orders & order to HI or AK.

How long will it take to ship?

We have a 2:00pm Central same-day cutoff on orders & ship Mon-Fri from Minnesota.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes between 1 & 3 business days.

Where do you ship to?

We currently offer free shipping on non-bulk orders to the lower 48 United States.

Sorry Alaska & Hawaii, you'll see shipping rates at checkout, but we still love you!
