How much Hemp Bedding do you need?
One fill = one complete bedding change. Using the deep litter method? Stick with 1 fill and top up as needed — how long it lasts varies by flock size, weather, and ventilation, so go by bedding condition (odor, dampness, matting) rather than a fixed timeline. Doing full changes more often? Pick however many fills you want to stock up for.

Hemp absorbs 4-5 times its weight! Hemp is quick-drying & absorbs unwanted smells & moisture helping chicken coops stay clean & hygienic.
Hemp is pillowy soft & works great in a chicken nesting box. Hemp is also used for chicken coop bedding; as hemp clumps (similar to kitty litter) for simple scoop & removal.
Mile Four hemp is cut specifically for chickens. Large enough hemp pieces for absorption, bedding & bedding coverage, yet small enough to not get caught in chickens' feet, feathers or be dusty.
Particle size ranges from 0.12" to 0.5" which provides maximum surface area & absorption.
